Square Edge Weatherboards were chosen for this project due to their natural durability, no requirement to be stained or treated, and assimilation to the natural surrounding coastal vegetation. The species, Silvertop Ash, is in the top table for bushfire resistance, and has been used on many community, commercial and residential projects on the Mornington Peninsula, Phillip Island, and West Coast of victoria.
