At the recent DesignEX Exhibition, April 19 - 21 2007, in Melbourne, Radial Timber Sales were proud sponsors of the Patio Stand. Jamie Durie, Patio's founder, chose Radial Timber for his design because of it's form, function and environmental credentials. The decking is Radial Timber's New Deck in 55mm and 100mm widths made from Yellow Stringybark. The design was to demonstrate the ability to merge the indoors and outdoors, and included integral day beds made by bending the decking, cut outs to bring planting into the deck surface, and screen boards highlighted with innovative lighitng design. The Yellow Stringybark decking was finished with a grey Exterior Timber oil manufactured by Preschem.
